Engineering work
Designed for the IN, optimized for the Out
Combining my experience as a technician on shows, with my degree in mechanical engineering I am able to come up with solutions tailored to the entertainment industry. From simple transport carts and dollies that are truck sized and quick to deploy on site – to custom made PCB’s, 19 inch equipment and complex engineering.
Creating solutions that are robust, reliable, fast and above all: tailored to the needs of the quick moving entertainment industry.
Live show work
Lenny Kravitz – EU/UK Arena tour 2025
(Feb – April)
In my role as Lead PA tech my responsibilities where to be the main contact point for the SE. Both in the pre production fase as on tour. Pre production work included creating the tour package, building and configuring the amp racks. At the venues I would convene with the SE about the deployment and the venue logistics and then relay that information to the rest of the PA techs. The touring package consisted mainly of JBL VTX A12’s and S28’s driven by Crown I-Tech 4x3500HD and 12000HD’s
Lenny Kravitz – EU Festival tour 2024
(June – August)
On festivals, as part of the audio crew my primary role was to help tie in our own supplemental PA package when needed. As well as assisting in other duties during the show day when required by production, both within audio as outside.
Royal Military Band “Johan Willem Friso”
(2024 – Present)
As part of the Dutch Armed Forces, the “Johan Willem Friso” Royal Military Band is an orchestra consisting of 50 musicians divided over percussion, brass and woodwind sections. As part of the audio team I perform multiple roles on a show day. First with rigging and flying the PA and setting up the amp racks, going on to place and wire up the stage racks and other gear. To then setting up mics and mic stands, placing them on the stage as well as patch them. They play a variety of different shows, from theaters and outdoor, to sporting halls and special events.
Engineering Projects
Engineering is, just like live shows, in my blood. From 19 inch PCB panels, to custom designed transport carts for PA fly frames, nothing is too big, too small or too complicated. I am a one stop shop for both design and manufacturing, going from an idea on paper to being on the road to your show. Understanding tight deadlines and that the show must always go on needs no explanation in the process.
